About
So, a little about me, then. A Canadian by citizenship, I was born in Toronto and raised in a couple of different cities in southern Ontario, most recently residing in Hamilton. In 2007, I married Robin, shortly after which we moved south—way south—to central Florida. We currently live on the north side of Orlando, in the city of Winter Park.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in the Humanities with a minor in Missions and World Christianity from Redeemer University College in 2006, I worked for a year and then began my studies at Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando campus) in the fall of 2007, completing a Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree this past May. We are moving to Hull, England in the autumn (we're currently waiting for visas to process) where I'll be taking up a position as an assistant minister at St John's Church. Some time down the road, I might like to take up further studies in historical theology. Among the things I most enjoy talking and thinking through are ecclesiology and worldview.
Most of what you'll see here are reflections on what I am studying or reading at the time. This is intended to be a place to facilitate good conversations on a number of different, though largely theological, topics. Asking and wrestling with big questions is a favourite pastime of mine, and I hope you'll join the conversation. Thanks for visiting.
