About
I was born and raised in the Canadian province of Ontario, and studied the humanities at Redeemer University College. It was there that I met my wife, Robin. We married in 2007 and then moved to Orlando, Florida, where I completed a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2011, we moved to the city of Hull in the northeast of England, where I now serve as an assistant minister at St John's Church, Newland.
Most of what you read here will be reflections on various things I am thinking about or reading. Because I am a pastor, some of the conversations will focus on different aspects of ministry. I also consider myself a 'backyard theologian' – not a professional or academic, but someone who enjoys sitting down with a few friends and a pint of bitter and chewing on big theological questions – and so you can expect some theological reflections as well.
Please do join in on the conversation. Thanks for visiting.
