Commenting on this Blog

I intend this blog to be a place to facilitate discussion on a variety of issues pertaining to theology, faith, and the Church. Because I want this to be a place where we can talk about these things from our different perspectives, I have enabled the comment feature in order that you, the reader, can contribute to the conversation. Your contributions are a big part of what makes having a blog so enjoyable.

As the owner of this blog, I have chosen not to moderate the comments (that it would need to be approved by me before it is posted on the site) because I believe that goes against the purpose of blogging. However, I do retain the ability to remove comments. This is something I do very infrequently, but there are some basic criterion your comment must meet in order for it to remain on the site.

1. Your comment must not be anonymous. You must leave at least your first name. This is a conversation between real people with real identities.
2. You may not post vitriolic and slanderous attacks on other commenters. You may disagree, of course, but you must do so in a way that reflects love and charity towards others.
3. Do not leave a comment that has nothing to do with the subject of the post.

I blog because I want your interaction on the things I am thinking and writing about, so please do take part in the conversation here. Your contributions to the discussion are most welcome!
